Mr Raymond Lim, Acting Second Minister for Finance and Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Singapore, will officially unveil a brand new Singaporean education centre today. Cetana PSB International College will be officially unveiled by the Minister at a ceremony to be held today at 3pm at the Sofitel Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City.
One hundred percent foreign-owned, Cetana PSB International College works in partnership with the Singaporean company, PSB Corporation. All awards are issued by PSB Corporation Singapore and are recognized by the International Examination Council of Cambridge University and more than 28 universities around the world. PSB Corporation’s qualifications are also approved by the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry.
An agreement to cooperate in providing education and training was signed by Cetana Corporation and PSB Corporation Singapore during Prime Minister Phan Van Khai’s visit to the Vietnam-Singapore Business Forum held earlier this year in Singapore.
“We are unique because we are offering very practical education programs that result in qualifications from certificate to advanced diploma and allow students to articulate into degree programs as well.” Mr Mohan Coomaraswamy the General Director said.
“PSB Corporation has been providing education and skills development in Singapore for 30 years and our Center is now offering this expertise in Vietnam.” Mr Coomaraswamy added.
The six-floor center in District 5 boasts computer laboratories with internet access, audio visual facilities, well-equipped class rooms and a learning resource center.
Courses to commence in August and September 2004 are English Language Proficiency Courses, Cambridge Diploma of Project Management, Certificate of Business Administration, Certificate of Salesmanship and Marketing, Certificate of Training Management and Diploma of Business Administration.
